Those of you living to play games on your Aquila Computers PC (hopefully you have one, if not why not?), will be familiar that after you have reluctantly packed up, and left your game to go to bed, as you begin to unwind and try to sleep. It begins! You can hear the game music, sound, and it comes back flooding into your mind. Don't be alarmed! You have not developed some kind of mental illness, and no it is not a psychotic episode you are experiencing.
Your experience now has a name; “gamer transfer phenomena”. Well at least you should be glad that you have some phenomena somewhere, sure, you have always boasted about your phenomenal gamesmanship, so there! It is validated now, with a phenomena.
Don't take my word for it, it comes from those boffins in Nottingham Trent University's International Gaming Research Unit. At least we can be happy, this time it has been good spying ,unlike the rest of the times that you are getting spied on by every tom dick and harry who has access to some weird and wonderful bespoke software.
Although these good spies were very up front and they just asked from 1200 gamers who were hanging around the various forums (really it should be fora, so no need for the emails telling me I don't know me “fora”, from me “forums”). Through asking the gamers, if they could hear the audio component of their games when their gaming rig was off, and resting altogether?
In response to these weird questions of the good spies, some brave souls, as well as those with access to a VPN proxy connections were brave enough to own up, man up and say; Yes, they did! Others although had heard their games, but thought to take the cowards way out, and kept quiet. While quietly worried have they gone insane?
Angelica Ortiz de Gortari the researcher in lead, has been summing it up as; "Often it happens when you're trying to fall asleep - players would look for their computer or console because they thought they'd left the game on."
These auditory “gaming transfer phenomena” or auditory hallucinations to those who have not visited this website or have not read my article. These “gaming transfer phenomena” are thought to be based on the repetitive nature of the audio tracks, as well as the long hours that is spent listening to these whilst playing the games.
Apparently these audio tracks get embedded inside the players brain memory matrix, which of course leads to the question does it infringe the copy rights laws? Will Harry Webb or is that Richard Cliff (I know many of you won't know who I am talking about, he used to be a singer, and is also known as the king of the monkey glands) will be asking his pals in various positions of power to pass a law to cosh the gamers every time they have finished playing in case the music is illegally copied and embedded illegally in these gamers brains!
However, just to make it plain that the study cannot be classed as totally scientific because the toerags who were getting questioned, could have lied, or pulled the yankers of the researchers, or even could have been posers sitting by a noeightsix computer and claiming to have a gaming rig.
Although there could be other reasons too, accounting for the transfer phenomena; partaking from exotic substances, or having drank copious amounts of brewed beverages. Because some of the subjects were telling they could feel their phones vibrating in their pockets when it wasn't (wishful thinking perhaps).
Although it was found to be true of ninety percent of the students on a campus who were asked if they could feel their phone vibrating when it actually was not? All of these could not be drunk or stoned, at the same time, could they? OK, OK, I know these days the student loans leave very little for any kind of extra curricular activity.
However, not all psychiatrists are convinced that it is good thing to happen and they are insisting on gamers stepping away from their rigs and do something else for a rest. These however did not specify that you cannot pick up a hand-held gaming console and play with that for a while before going back on the main rig.
Finally in the view of the close correlation of the gaming and your brain, it should be patently obvious that if you want to do any embedding into your brain you best do it with custom built quality gaming rig, in short you need an Aquila Computers Gaming rig, and nothing less, don't let any shoddy substandard machine to do the embedding into your brains.
